What is the average length of assignment?
Populus Group places candidates in contractual and contract-to-hire positions
as well as direct placements into our client organizations.
Does Populus Group pay relocation fees?
There are times when our customers will incur the cost of relocating our
contract employees or direct hires.
Are there drug testing and background checks prior to starting an assignment?
At the request of our clients, Populus Group provides drug and background
testing, once an offer has been made. These must be completed prior to
employment.

What is the cost of Populus Group services to job seekers?
There is no cost to job seekers. We are paid by the companies where our
employees are placed.
Do you hire contractors on a corp-to-corp basis? Do you hire independent
contractors?
Populus Group hires its employees on a W-2 basis. Populus Group withholds taxes
from our contactors and earnings are reported to the IRS each year. Populus
Group employees must complete a W-4 form at the beginning of their employment.
Populus Group generally does not hire contractors on a 1099 basis or by way of
corp-to-corp arrangements.
What type of benefits do you offer?
Benefit packages vary based on position, location, duration and other factors.
Medical / Dental / Vision, Life Insurance, and Paid Holidays / Vacation days
may be available. Specifics of benefits package are based on the assignment and
hours worked. More details will be provided to you by your Customer Service
Associate (CSA) when you are hired.
Does Populus Group hire permanent resident aliens? Green card holders? Those
with valid work visas?
Most Populus Group positions are open to any individual eligible to work in the
United States for any employer, including those with valid Employment
Authorization Documents, those with valid United States Permanent Resident
Cards (aka Green Cards), and others eligible to work in the United States as
described on Department of Homeland Security document I-9.
Populus Group only hires individuals currently eligible to work in the United
States for any employer. For information on employment eligibility in the
