We are looking for the right Employee to make an impact on our Independent Contractor Compliance team.  Are you highly driven, motivated, energetic and ready to lead?  In this role you will provide direct leadership and development for PG’s IC Compliance team.

You’ll be successful in this role if you have a customer service mindset, the ability to drive accountability and have a track record of proactively building strong partnerships across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision, leadership and development of the IC Compliance Team
  • Comprehensive understanding of all day-to-day operational functions that are required to service PG clients, suppliers and contractors.
  • Establish priorities, and display good organizational skills, and professional interpersonal skills and presentation
  • Ensure that all assigned client accounts have an updated, well maintained: Standard Operating Procedures, paperwork, processes and other daily client services operating procedures
  • Conduct Red Zone, new climber training and weekly employee one-on-one development meetings with team
  • Proactively drive customer service mindset across the IC Compliance Team. Develop and deliver customer centric data as needed.
  • Act as point of escalation in partnership with our customer success team for all customers that we provide IC Compliance Services
  • Consistently drive accountability through the IC Compliance Team. Talk straight with Candor and drive team to do the same. Ensure IC Compliance team meets timelines/deadlines.
  • Supply metrics for staffing ratios and maintain adequate staffing to support PG’s growth. In addition, perform comprehensive talent review every 6 months reporting for the IC Compliance Team
  • Network with Key client department executives, directors and managers, and other key contacts as needed
  • Proactively manage Cross Functional Team relationships including but not limited to: (Customer Success Team, Sales, Corporate Services, Implementations, Human Resources etc.)
  • Partner with Implementations during new customer programs and IC Incumbent Reviews/Transitions
  • Ensure adherence to Compliance Team Service Level Agreements by customers

    Help to invent, apply and refine Populus Group's distinct approaches to business issues addressing IC Compliance and make authoritative compliance decisions for Populus Group and our Customers.

  • Possess a working knowledge of IC Compliance practices and regulations. Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of IC Compliance through court cases, industry research, and partnership with our outside legal counsel. Establish internal and external awareness of important business developments or changes in IC Compliance. Ensure that the IC team and other internal partners are also immersed in understanding the clients business to this level.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to internal Compliance Management System.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of management experience that includes supervisory responsibilities of 2-5 direct reports
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of Independent Contractor Compliance Experience
  • Previous MSP / VMS / SOW/ IC Compliance experience desired
  • Positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a rapidly growing and highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbal, interpersonal, and in presentations. Able to interact and communicate with all levels of management and staff
  • Must have excellent problem solving, critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Working knowledge of: Applicant Tracking Systems, VMS tools like Fieldglass and Beeline/IQN & MS Office Suites preferred
